    Although quality may get the quote, quality coupled with a competitive price gets the order.

    Through innovative machining and aggressive machine tool purchasing ASTRA has, year after year, been able to
    offer our customers lower pricing on repeat order parts. In business since 1950, we are well-experienced
    at general machining of various materials. We commonly hold tolerances of .0002(in)/.005 (mm) both
    diametrically as well as in position. ASTRA has certified outside venders for anodizing, heat treat, EDM, and
    a range of finishes and chemical treatments. 

    We also perform assemblies, providing some of the manufacturing work is in house.

    We have found our niche to be micromachining ( turning, milling and drilling down to .005 dia).
    In micromachining, detail is everything and it is that attention to detail that drives us. This constant pursuit of
